Responsibilities of a Hairstylist:
- Discussing clients’ hairdressing needs, preferences, and specifications.

- Cut, trim, and shape clients’ hair as well as wigs, extensions, hairpieces, and toupes.
- Hair washing, conditioning, and drying.
- After asking about hair dye sensitivity and allergies, offering consumers hair coloring treatments.
- Styling clients’ hair with straighteners, curling irons, rollers, hairdryers, and hot combs.
- Cleaning and sanitizing hairdressing tools to meet health and safety regulations.
- Cashing out customers when needed.
